A College Prep Skills class (formerly TRIO Upward Bound) is offered during the academic year at the target school and students are expected to follow a rigorous curriculum. Students receive high school credit, tutorial assistance, academic and personal advising. In addition, students are invited to participate in educational, cultural, and motivational activities. During the senior year, students receive assistance with completing college and scholarship applications and financial aid forms.
The academic classroom strives to create college ready students who are held to a higher standard. Students learn the importance of community service, take on leadership roles, and demonstrate integrity, empathy, and responsibility. |
THANK YOU
For partnering to keep aspects of services provided by TRIO Upward Bound ALIVE for the
2017-2018 academic year at Adrian High! |
College visit to University of Toledo College visits are a part of the academic year. Visiting various colleges during the high school years gives students an appreciation and anticipation of their next educational step. These visits assists students in distinguishing the difference and uniqueness of each college and help them choose a college that is a good fit for them.
